Could’ve been perfect

I keep hearing that now nobody should question or care about the Colts decision to rest their starters at the end season. Sure, the number one goal in the NFL is to win the Super Bowl, which Bill Polian and Jim Caldwell have given Indianapolis a chance to do on Sunday, but who is to say that they wouldn’t be in this same exact position to win if they had continued to go for the undefeated perfect season? They could have had a shot at going 19-0 and being remembered as the greatest team of all time… of all time!!! Now even if they win the Super Bowl, which is always an amazing accomplishment, they’ll just be one of 44 other teams to win. And only one of those teams, the 1972 Miami Dolphins, did it in perfect fashion.
