If the NFL wants more people to watch the Pro Bowl, why not put it the Saturday night before the Super Bowl? I think this would get a lot more fans to watch it. Saturday may be traditionally the worst night for TV ratings, but its not like many fans watch the game anyway. Put it during the day, plenty of people tune in Saturday afternoons for college football. The only problem I can see is inevitable complaints from the teams involved in the Super Bowl that team field is too tore up, but the next two Super Bowls are on artificial surfaces anyway.
