Tim Tebow, Florida Gators QB, has just completed his final year with the Gators, however, this is only the beginning of his hopeful illustrious career in the sport of football.
After playing 4 years at Florida, and getting awarded with accolades like SEC All-Freshman Team, Davey O’Brien Award, Heisman Trophy, 2x Maxwell Award, Sportingnews Player of the year, Harley Award, NCAA QB of the year, ESPN The Magazine Academic All American football team mention, Rivals.com National Offensive Player of the year, First Team All SEC selection per AP, Coaches, and Rivals.com, 2x AP SEC Offensive Player of the Year, AP Player of the year, First team All American by Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America, Walter Camp Football Foundation, Sporting News, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, CBS Sports, College Football News, Rivals.com, and Scout.com, James Sullivan Award, SEC Male athlete of the year, 2x ESPY for Best Male College Athlete, Disney Spirit Award, Manning Award, 2008 SEC Championship game MVP.. you know what hold on.. i have to inhale first.. you know what.. never mind.. you google the damn awards.. back to the story..
Tebow doesn’t feel he has accomplished much and after the decision to play in the Under Armour Senior Bowl, he believes this should now be his chance to shine in the media’s eyes.
“Nobody ever talks about me, I’m always overlooked.. I don’t even think my name has ever appeared in a conversation that i’m not a part of”, Tebow said.
We asked Tebow if he ever watches TV or reads newspapers, because we’ve seen him more than once being mentioned by media, especially during his championship season. Tebow said the media can cause a distraction to him personally and he needs to have his mind clear so he can focus and be effective on the field.
So much for contradiction…
