hey kidz

hi.. whats new..

just came by to acknowledge what’s been one of my least productive weeks ever.. (no stories and no new video of the week) after one of my most productive weeks ever (all stories written by me).. so one can say we’re even.. right?

anyway.. ive been sick today.. yes the day i was going to announce that we’re going to start updating biweekly now.. so i’ll just announce it.. errm.. right now..

we’re going to be putting out new stories twice a week… Look for new stories every Monday and Thursday. There will still only be one ‘video of the week’ and the stories on thursday would not block out the ones written on Monday.

Either way just log on and read the damn stories!

What else? Oh yeah… Sports related stuff.. let’s get to it..

It’s no secret my team, the Spurs, are getting their asses beat right now. This gives the average Suns fan a boner I can tell.. i don’t blame them.. beating the Spurs in the playoffs alone is an achievement in itself..

which other spurs fan enjoyed it as much as i did when we started getting blunders like Richard Jefferson traveling and Tim Duncan missing a layup :D ?

Anyways.. who caught the Orlando / Atlanta game? No not the first game where Atlanta got their asses handed to, but the second game where Atlanta got their asses handed to. Seriously, should this even be considered a playoff series? This is the worst showing, of talent disparity between the top seeds and the bottom in the East. Or should I say, the best showing? Somehow I have a feeling Milwaukee would’ve given Orlando a tougher run… This is the same Milwaukee that surprised me when I actually heard they were in the playoffs; I had no idea they were doing that well. They took Atlanta to 7 games without their star player, that alone is shameful of Atlanta in itself. They shouldn’t deserve to win. At this point, it’d be a paradox seeing Atlanta win one game against the Magic. If they did, it’d probably be a buzzer beater desperation fullcourt shot. On a side note.. in a couple of weeks, i’m going to be participating on a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. I talk all this smack about NBA players, lets see if i can walk the walk. I’ll provide pics and video :D .

OK back to the site.. Can anyone like write my co authors a letter or post a comment here begging them to put their 2 cents on anything on their blogs? I’m kinda getting tired of brushing up the cobwebs on their pages. This is what i saw when I went back to PBeezy’s blog for example.

Oh yeah.. another thing.. the funny cats at slamdumb.com gave me a knee slapper the other day. Check it out

They’re good guys over there.. haha-larious as i like to say.. check out their other comics and articles also.

Wow.. I must say that’s a good load of basketball talk in one sitting.. especially on a site that claims to cover a lot of sports and not just basketball.. can’t help it.. we’re just basketball heads. It’s what’s being shoved down our throats from the media the most right now. That, and baseball.. we don’t have much baseball prowess right now but we’re trying.

Our favorite team, the Oakland Raiders made headlines by cutting former #1 overall pick, Jamarcus Russell.

Russell: father forgive them.. for they know not what they do..

Yeah I know, the highest achievement by Jamarcus is being the #1 overall pick. I mean, I admire this guy. He’s smart as hell. He totally Rick Astley’d the Raiders organization by impressing them to the point they picked him over 300 other athletes that year. Hey they needed a quarterback.. you can’t blame them for picking him over players like Calvin Johnson, Patrick Willis and Adrian Peterson. Brady Quinn was the next best QB available and he’s had a better career than Russell. See, I say Russel’s smart because after holding out big time to get that max contract of whatever it was, I believe he got immediately to investing that money, because, I mean.. be serious.. he got a 68 million dollar contract.. imagine what you and i could do with that money. I sure as hell wouldn’t wanna risk getting hurt out there when I already got my money in the bank.Hell.. I’d do what Jamarcus did even if i got a 10 thousand dollar contract instead.. get drafted.. sign the contract.. and then..tank the career.. He probably lives in some nice two bedroom apartment that has rent like 650 bucks a month. Russel is set. Maybe he may have more things to do on his free time like play football or something..

anyways.. I’m all out of blog ideas now.. how was that? I’m still getting used to this blogging thing.. It’s new.. work with me here.. I’ll try to get more stuff out there.. blogs n’ stories n’ whatever else you can possibly find on this site.. feel free to post a comment below.. let me know if my audience actually consists of real human beings.. I’m already a hit with the spambots..

alright.. over and out..

Rolando McClain suffers career ending career as a Raider

resized_ro_cory_presser_ap_markjterrillOAKLAND – Alabama Crimson Tide alum, Rolando McClain showed a deeply saddened face all day today. Deeply saddened by his draft onto the Raiders, McClain already knew his time was up.

“It all happened so fast.. I was sitting there, holding my mom’s hand tightly as names were being called.” said McClain. Rolando knew he was going to be a high pick according to mock drafts and combine results as well as his impressive stint in college, but started getting worried when the first seven teams passed up on him.

As soon as the orator walked up to the podium and announced “..for the 8th pick of the 2010 nfl draft, the oakland raiders select..”, Rolando described a cold piercing breath of air inhaled as a sweat ran down his cheek. He had never been this nervous or tense in his life on nor off the field. Apparently, other draftees felt the same way as they were praying not to be selected by the Raiders neither. “As soon as I heard my name called out for the Raiders pick, I knew my time was done.” said McClain. Every other player in the room exhaled in excitement and felt their future was once again in good hands, until it was the Raiders turn to draft again.

McClain made a brief statement saying he thanks his fans for all the support they have given him and that he hopes to recover from the highly potential career ending draft choice by being traded to another team.

Top NFL prospects giving Al Davis rejection phone number

Al DavisNEW YORK – In a move typically saved for girls to avoid giving a guy her real phone number, some rookies in this year’s NFL draft are giving Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis a phone number that lets the caller know that they are not interested. This way, if Davis attempts to call them on draft day, and automated recording will let him know that they are not interested in playing for him, and do not want him to have their real contact information.

Former Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant is credited with first pulling off the move, fearing that he is one of Davis’ favorite prospects.

“Let’s be honest,” said Bryant, “We all know ol’ Al loves him some speedy wide receivers. I don’t want to immediately ruin my career by starting with the Raiders, so I thought it’d be funny to give him the rejection number so he can’t call me on draft day.”

Eric Berry, former Tennessee stand out defensive back, quickly followed Bryant’s lead.

“When I heard about what Dez did, I thought it was a fantastic idea. I was worried that Al would realize it was the same number, but his ancient ass had no clue.”

Oakland Raiders management is working on getting a phone with large keys, so Davis can attempt to contact his sections on draft day.

SINCE WHEN ARE COLLEGE FOOTBALL FANS A BUNCH OF SISSIES?

Someone over at orangebloodz.com or whatever they’re called decided to leak locker room vids of Leach drillin’ his players. If you havne’t seen it.. it’s here

http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/ncf/news/story?id=4987339

or the youtube vid

Alright.. seriously.. if you think that’s BAD? I don’t think you should listen to other locker room conversations.. you don’t wanna hear what hall of famer bobby knight had to say off the court..

Look.. these are full ass grown men.. seriously.. his ass is always on the line coaching such a big program in a big conference.. so he’s got to get into those players’ heads and really drive his point.. he’s not cussing anyone out or yelling racial slurs or waterboarding anyone.. so calm the hell down

Those who know me closely know I’m a Christian with a very open mind. I respect everyone and their own religious beliefs and I’m not here to preach.. (I suck at preaching anyways).. So when those words were said about the “God Squad” and what nto.. that doesn’t even begin to cross the line..

I think people are looking too much into this.. seriously.. wake the hell up and stop being cry babies..

If we’re gonna paint leach out to be a slanderous villain that does double duty as a coach, why not show his post game victory speeches then?

gahh.. sometimes i just wanna GARRHH!!!!

Oakland Raiders among interested teams in getting Amare Stoudemire

OAKLAND- It’s no secret Amare Stoudemire’s name has been one of the most discussed this February in the scheme of NBA potential trades. It appears what makes the Suns so sure-fire of trading him is his expiring contract and what makes teams so interested is his talent and what he can do to just about any front court in the league. However, one team did surprise the media though, as it was rumored that Oakland Raiders’ owner Al Davis has been expressing interest in acquiring Stoudemire as well.

Davis couldn’t be reached for comment due to bad timing by us. We failed to contact him due to visiting during his 12 PM nap time. A spokesperson kind enough to comment to us said, “Al doesn’t even know who Amare is, I think he’s mixing him up with some other random big black guy, but hey. Big Al knows best.”

Al has had an unimpressive track record lately with drafting high picked players and has had fans and staff members worried if he actually knows what he’s doing. Unfortunately, no one’s willing to speak up as they fear they may be fired or ambushed by their fellow raider fans.
